The international friendly which was played in the North African country was to mark this year’s International Women’s Day celebration.

Following a good start to the game, Ghana took a deserved lead after just 2 minutes of play when Hasaacas Ladies top attacker Milot Abena Pokuaa found the back of the net.

Later in the half, the Moroccans drew level from the spot-kick after they were awarded a penalty kick. The home team built on that and took the lead for the first time in the match courtesy a long-range effort from Nawal Ouinekh.

Though Ghana equalized through Faustina Akpor to restore parity, a third goal from El Tel Haj on the 84th minute sealed a 3-2 win for the Moroccans.
