Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko officially kicked off theor pre-season on Tuesday ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The team pitched camp in Beposo in the Ashanti Region ahead of the new season.
Ahead of the pre-season, the club has cleared out a number of players declared surplus to requirement by head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum.
The team on Monday reported to camp and took to the field for their first session.
Having finished 4th last campaign, Asante Kotoko will hope to improve their performance ahead of the new season.
Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has instituted an Interim Management Committee to steer the affairs of the club and make sure the club is ready for the new season.
Asante Kotoko will open their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign with a home game against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Fans now have renewed hope as the team begins its quest for victory in the forthcoming season thanks to the return of coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
