Premier League Duo Keen on Signing Manchester United Star Jesse Lingard

Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard is being monitored by both Chelsea and Arsenal according toThe Sun, with the Englishman having just 12 months left on his contract at Old Trafford.

Antonio Conte is said to be keen to make a summer bid for Lingard, with Jose Mourinho likely to want to cash in on the 24 year-old instead of allowing him to leave on a free at the end of next season.

Lingard has been a United playersince the age of seven, and has featured in the first team for the last 3 years, after Louis Van Gaal handed the winger his debut in 2014.

However, he has found opportunities hard to come by this season, making just 14 appearances in the Premier League this term. He has also been subbed off nine times this season, and the winger could not be blamed for feeling like he deserves more of a chance in the first-team.

Lingard has been the subject of much abuse on social media, with many fans believing that he does not have the quality to be an integral part of Mourinho's plans.

Seriously, what value does Jesse Lingard add to #mufc except aimless running, flashy flicks without substance and bad handshakes?

Others are more supportive, with some keen to highlight the Englishman's commitment and loyalty to Manchester United.

No @ManUtd fan should ever hate @JesseLingard he's red through and through! His heart belongs to Man United... and he always steps up. #MUFC

Lingard could be forgiven for feeling hard done-by, after the 24 year-old has popped up with two crucial goals in United's last two trips to Wembley - including a stunning strike against Crystal Palace to clinch the FA Cup in 2016.

But if Mourinho decides that Lingard's future isn't with the Red Devils, it is likely that Conte and Arsene Wenger will be keen to secure his signature come the end of the season.
