As Muslims around the world begin their annual fasting, Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have extended their best wishes to their Muslim supporters.
“Everyone at Hearts of Oak wishes Ramadan Kareem to all our fans celebrating around the world!”, a post on the official Twitter page of the Phobians said on Friday afternoon.
The period of Ramadan is observed by Muslims worldwide as they commit to a month-long fasting as well as a prayer while they fulfill the desires of the holy month.
A special message from Hearts of Oak also said: “We wish all Muslims a blessed and peaceful Ramadan. May this holy month be an opportunity to renew and strengthen your faith through rigorous fasting, devout prayer, reflective motivation, and reading of the Quran leading to charitable deeds”.
