Raphael Dwamena climbs off the bench to score to salvage point for Vejle Boldklub

Ghana forward Raphael Dwamena climbed off the bench to score for Vejle Boldklub in the team’s 2-2 draw against FC Copenhagen in the Danish Superliga today.

The striker joined the Danish club this summer and has already on several occasions proved to be the hero for the side.

Today, he started Vejle Boldklub’s clash against FC Copenhagen from the substitute bench.

On the matchday, Peter Ankersen scored for FC Copenhagen after just five minutes into the first half.

With that goal separating the two teams at halftime, the visitors returned after the break to double their lead through a strike from Kamel Wilzcek on the hour mark.

Now headed for defeat, Vejle Boldklub managed introduced Raphael Dwamena into the game. The Ghana forward did not disappoint but scored in added time to complement an equalizer from Allan Sousa to ensure the game ended 2-2 at the end of the 90 minutes.

This season, the former UD Levante man has two goals after featuring in 3 games.
