Ghanaian international Raphael Dwamena has traveled to Barcelona to have further checks after suffering a heart problem which has raised great concerns on abilities to continue his football career.

The striker who is currently on loan at Spanish Segunda B side Real Zaragoza has been ruled out of action indefinitely following the discovery of an unknown heart problem on Wednesday while undergoing regular health tests.

Though Dwamena has already seen a heart specialist for some tests, he has now been flown to Barcelona to have further tests to determine the exact cause of the recurring heart problem.

Meanwhile, the medical team of Zaragoza has reportedly called on the 24-year-old to stop playing indefinitely.

The results of the tests in Barcelona will most definitely inform the forward and his management of the next decision to take. What is sure though is that he will be sidelined for quite a while.
