Reading defender Andy Yiadom a doubt for Stoke City’s meeting on Saturday

Ghanaian international Andy Yiadom is set to miss Reading’s encounter against Stoke City on Saturday when the English Championship season bounces back.

The Royals defender is carrying a hamstring problem and could not shake it off in time to make the team squad for the matchday.

In line with that, he is not expected to play any part when Reading host Stoke City at the Madejski Stadium. In Andy Yiadom’s absence, his place will be taken by experienced full-back Chris Gunter.

With the two sides just separated by 6 points on the English Championship table and with the possibility of being relegated at the end of the season, the match is expected to be fiercely contested.

This season, Andy Yiadom has made 24 appearances for Reading in the league and has 1 goal and 4 assists to his name.

His defensive contributions and runs down the line will be missed for the Stoke game, unfortunately.
