Reading defender Baba Rahman reacts after defeat to Watford

Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman has expressed his disappointment after Reading suffered a 2-0 loss to Watford in the English Championship on Tuesday night.

The 28-year-old, who lasted the entire duration of the game was one of brightest spot for the Royals at Vicarage Road.

Baba Rahman has featured in nine league games for Reading so far this season.

"Today wasn’t good enough and I’m the first to admit it Royal fans. We have a chance to make up for it on Tuesday and we’ll go for it. Thanks for the support and get home safe. Up the Ding," Rahman wrote.

Watford's good start paid off after 15 minutes when Pedro converted from the penalty spot after he was hauled down in the area by Ejaria.

The visitors created their first effort after 34 minutes when Fornah floated a free-kick slightly too high to cause trouble after Asprilla fouled Baba Rahman.

After the recess, Pedro netted his second on the volley after Bouzanis spilled his effort to seal all three points for Watford.

Rahman's compatriot Andy Yiadom also featured and lasted the entire duration of the game.

The Chelsea loanee has been included in Ghana's 55-man provisional squad which will be whittled down to 26 players.

Black Stars have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

Ghana will take on Portugal in their first game on November 24 before playing South Korea and Uruguay on November 28 and December 2 respectively.

Black Stars will play Switzerland in an International friendly on November 17, before travelling to Qatar for the World Cup.
