Hearts of Oak have announced that Daniel Kodie has stepped up training and will soon return to the squad for games.

The midfielder has been on the sidelines for the past year due to an injury setback that saw him stay home for over a month.

Fortunately, the player was airlifted to South Africa where he underwent successful surgery.

After completing his rehabilitation, Daniel Kodie is now training with the first team and should soon be back in the team.

In a press release from Hearts of Oak, it has confirmed that training is progressing well for the player.

“Has started training after months of going through his rehabilitation program. He started training on Tuesday after he was cleared by the medical team working on him,” the release reads.

Sources report that the player is gradually getting back in shape and should feature in games for the Phobians very soon.
