Referee Latif Adaari has been appointed to handle the replay of the 2019 President Cup between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak.
The two most successful clubs in the country are set to go head to head this weekend to honour the first gentleman of the land, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The match was initially played on September 8 but unfortunately it only last 10 minutes and had to be called off due to a heavy rainfall that rendered the pitch at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium water-soaked.
Ahead of the rescheduled replay of the match, FIFA referee Latif Adaari has been called upon to officiate.
He will be working with Emmanuel Tebson and Augustine Dakurah as assistant line 1 and line 2 respectively. Additionally, class one referee Benjamin Sefa has been given the match commissioner role.
The high profile match will be played on Sunday, December 22, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
