Turkish side Trabzonspor have reached an agreement to transfer Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban to Serie A side Genoa according to reports.

The two parties negotiated for a long time but a deal has reportedly been struck with Ekuban set to move to the Italian side soon.

The fee is believed to be set at €2.3 million euros which spells the end of a long drawn out saga between the player and club.

Ekuban returned to preseason training late due to disagreements with the club over taxes and his future.

The former Leeds United man played a bit part role in Ghana's qualification into the 2021 AFCON.
