Retired midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong backs use of Russia’s Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine in Ghana

Former Arsenal midfielder, Emmanuel Frimpong has backed the use of Russia’s Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine in Ghana after insisting that he would love to take the shot.

In midst of the global pandemic, some countries have managed to create their own vaccines in a bid to combat the deadly virus.

Russia after coming out with the Sputnik V vaccine is now said to have the most effective vaccine.

Asked in a recent interview if he would allow himself to be vaccinated with the Sputnik V, Emmanuel Frimpong has shared that he will not think twice about it.

“Sure! I love Russia. If you want - send it to me,” the retired footballer answered when asked according to statistics, the Russian Sputnik V vaccine is the most effective. If you were offered to vaccinate her, would you agree?

Frimpong further shared, “Now there is a lot of talk about the vaccine, many do not want to be vaccinated. People are afraid because they are not used to such difficult situations. But our doctors said the vaccine is good for us. The President of Ghana is also talking about this.”
