REVEALED: Zlatan Ibrahimovic Names the Best City He's Lived in During His Career

Published on: 07 November 2016

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had the chance to live in some of the most iconic and famous European cities throughout his glittering professional career, from Amsterdam, to Turin, Milan, Barcelona and Paris, but it's the latest stop that the superstar striker has identified as his favourite.

Cynics would say Manchester has nothing on Zlatan's previous homes, but the player has now told the latest edition of Inside United that he was never actually not too fussed about what those other places had to offer.

"I heard a lot of things that the city is this, the city is that, the weather is like this and the weather is like that but, so far, everything has been good," he said.

"The city is the best city so far. I come from Sweden, I don't have big expectations when it comes to¦how do you say it¦outside football."

Ibrahimovic grew up in the Rosengard estate, a working class area of Malmo that also had links to gangs and gang-related and violence at various points in time.

"I'm pretty simple, I'm a family guy. For me, they come in the first phase, the rest is less important," he continued.

"For example, when I was living in Paris, in four years I didn't go to see the Eiffel Tower once - I wanted them to change the Eiffel for my statue but they didn't do it! Maybe if they do it now, I will go to visit!" he joked.
