Former Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Kingson has revealed that current senior national team first choice goalie Richard Ofori learned a bit from him before making it to the top.
"Richard Ofori is very humble and hardworking. He learned from me. I believe in hard work and discipline,” he told Joy FM.
Richard Ofori now plays for Maritzburg in the PSL and has acquired the most clean sheets in the league this season (10).
Kingson was asked if he had an academy for goalkeepers and he answered in a positive adding that he does not want to take money from them.
“I have a goalkeeper’s academy now so I have registered. I just want to put one or two things together before opening it for everybody. I don’t want to take money from them. I know it is not wrong to take money but my knowledge was given to me freely. Sometimes my wife cooks for them. I can train you here and you will enjoy yourself. I want to help them."
