Ghana defender Richard Ofori has vowed to work his socks off to help FC Vizela achieve their goals.

The 27-year-old left-back recently completed a transfer to the Portuguese club after agreeing to a two-year contract.

Ahead of the return to action of the Liga 2 season, Richard Ofori has shared that he is determined to do his best for his new team.

“I have admired the team for a long time, but I never thought to play here until the master arrived. Then, I knew I could represent Vizela”, the full-back said in an interview.

He added, “I will work hard to help Vizela achieve the goals. I promise that I will do my best to help the club. We hope that the fans can come in large numbers to support us. Together, we will achieve something”.

The formal Académica de Coimbra, Sporting da Covilhã and Beira Mar defender hopes to come good for FC Vizela when the new season comes around.
