Robert Lewandowski Rejected Huge Offer From Chinese Super League According to His Agent

Bayern Munich and Poland striker Robert Lewandowski has turned down an unbelievable offer to move to a Chinese club this season, according to the player's agent.

Cezary Kucharski claims that the forward would have earned upwards of€40m-a-year had he accepted the deal from an unnamed side.

The forward signed a five-year contract extension with Bayern just last month, but that didn't deter interest one bit.

Speaking with outletSportoweFakty in Poland,Kucharski revealed that Lewandowski would have made even more than Carlos Tevez.

"I was contacted by an agent who brings stars to China," Kucharski said. "The club name wasn't mentioned.

"If Lewy had decided to move to China, his salary would have been significantly higher than €40m which means more than Carlos Tevez earns.

"Robert is not for sale right now. But I never say never. Life offers several solutions."

The agent further explained that Lewandowski never even considered the offer because he is younger and better than Tevez.

SportoweFakty also added that the club was willing to pay Bayern€200m to secure the player's services.

Tevez is set to earn£32.5m every year, having left Boca Juniors in his homeland to join Shanghai Shenhua last month. That works out to£226,000 weekly, significantly less than the initially reported£615,000 per week.

If this latest report is to be believed, then Tevez is still behind La Liga starsCristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, who earn£288,000 and£256,000 respectively.

China also captured Axel Witsel this month, as well as former Chelsea midfielder Oscar and John Obi Mikel. They aren't done yet, though, and we shouldn't be surprised if another big name completes a move to the orient this month.
