Kevin Strootman feels ready to take his game up a gear at Roma.
The midfielder is confident he's beyond his long-term injury woes.
“Roma is Roma and it's hard to leave, you can't get away easily. We all have the ambition to win something here," he told NBC.
“Getting back on the pitch was a relief, especially at the start. The staff did a great job.
“I played 50 games [last season] and we've qualified for the Champions League. I feel really good and I'm happy to repay the club on the pitch."
