Roma coach Eusebio Di Francesco insists they were worthy winners against Cagliari.

Federico Fazio scored six minutes into injury time for thr 1-0 win.

“We could've scored a lot earlier, as Cagliari had their first shot on target at the 85th minute and clearly came here for a point," Di Francesco told Mediaset Premium.

“We pushed forward constantly and take these three very important points. I am happy when I see chances being created, while in defence we allow very little. We dominated the game, even though we weren't as clinical as we'd like.

“Winning at the 94th minute means you had difficulty, but I don't see it that way. We took the game to the opposition, the same way we always do.

"Well, effectively we only had 20 shots on goal today. With more determination, we would've scored earlier. I didn't like our first half, but when you find an opponent that just plays the long ball game, it gives you precious few options. My wingers shouldn't come so deep, as they need to create more."
