Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney is pricing himself out of a move from Old Trafford.
The Daily Star says Rooney's mammoth contract demands are seriously threatening to price him out of a return to Everton.
And reports today suggest interest from elsewhere in securing his services is extremely limited as the transfer window approaches.
A Manchester United insider described the 31-year-old as "stuck".
Now he's considering staying put for the final year of his deal - which was thought to run until 2019.
