Samartex striker Seidu Abubakar has successfully undergone a surgery to correct a bucket handle tear in his right-knee.
The forward has been out of action for the Timber boys since March 5, 2023 after sustaining an injury in their game against Aduana Stars.
Abubakar has missed eleven games for Samartex due to the injury setback two months ago.
The surgery means the season is over for the enterprising striker and must be looking forward to the 2023/24 season.
The forward was impressive for Samartex at the beginning of the campaign before injury plagued his season.
Before picking up the injury, he had scored five goals for Samartex.
