Samuel Obeng referred to his team's victory over Alcorcón as "necessary" in his post-match statement.
The Ghanaian striker scored his first goal of the season to help SD Huesca achieve its first victory of the season.
"The evaluation is positive, we are very happy to have achieved that first victory, because we needed it," said the striker.
"We all went together to keep a clean sheet, being very solid at the back. Then at the top we scored what we had. We were very effective, " said Obeng when assessing the match, giving voice to the team in the mixed zone of the Madrid stadium.
"We were a very tough group, defending very well without making mistakes. We kept a clean sheet, which was very important to finally get the three points.
"We have opened the can to be able to see things differently from now on. From this triumph, a new era has to begin," he added, extending the assessment to the first goal he had scored.
"There is continuous work, also mental. That of being calm and trusting. I knew that sooner or later it was going to come.
"Last year we were ahead, but it was difficult for us to be a block and maintain the result. But this time when we got ahead, it was for us a treasure that we had to maintain, leaving our soul," he concluded.
