Samuel Tetteh among NY Red Bulls new signings to be further assessed before marking debut

Ghana international Samuel Tetteh is among new signings of New York Red Bulls who will need further assessment by the technical handlers of the Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit before playing their first match.

The exciting young winger joined the MLS club from Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg on a 1-year loan deal earlier this month after impressing on loan at LASK Linz last season.

According to New York Red Bulls manager Chris Armas, Samuel Tetteh will need time for additional assessment to get him into the best condition before he starts playing in the ongoing league campaign.

“….Then we will see the players [new signings] though they’ll be out of the training field.

“We will be able to work with those players on some level and get them ready, and physically ready style of play ready”, the gaffer said in an interview.

Last season, Samuel Tetteh made 29 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga where he scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists.

He has accepted the challenge of playing in the MLS and hopes to get to play soon.
