  1. Mateusz Klich

  1. P. Bamford

Trailing closely behind is another Leeds United player. The attacking midfielder and forward contributed two goals out of a total seven for the team. One goal was scored against Liverpool and another when they hosted Fulham.

What you need to know before placing a bet, and possibly parting with your money

Tips to Sports Betting

  • Understand the difference between decimals, fractions and money-line odds. The last type is the hardest to understand, and is primarily applied in American games and sportsbooks. Decimals are used universally, and are the easiest to understand. For example, if a team’s odds are set at 2.8 to win, placing a $10 bet on the same will yield $28. Nothing complicated. However, understanding why some odds are higher than others is key. Teams more likely to win receive smaller odds, with higher odds going to non-favorites or underdogs.
  • Taking time to research and understand home-advantages, team transfers and how they affect a team’s performance is important. For example, Luis Suarez leaves Barca for Atletico Madrid soon. This may or may not present a challenge for Barcelona moving forward. However, it may give Atletico renewed energy and prowess against rivals. Keep that in mind and realize a decent payout with minimal stakes.

Conclusion

Whether you are football fanatic or a punter, the 2020/2021 season promises to bring necessary and refreshing surprises. The football scene has been quiet for a better part of the year, for known reasons. With the start of the premier league only recently, and improved performances from previously down-and-out teams, the ante is up!
