Hearts of Oak is set to appoint Kosta Papic as their new Technical Director, information reaching footballghana.com has revealed.

Earlier in October, the capital-based club announced the appointment of Carlos Vaz Pinto to serve in that capacity.

Unfortunately, due to some family matters and some other issues, the tactician left the Hearts of Oak Technical Director role.

Today, information gathered is indicating that officials of the Ghanaian giants have settled on the new candidate.

Sources say that the club has held talks with Serbian trainer Kosta Papic and will in the coming days make an announcement on his appointment as the new Technical Director.

Once that is done, he will work closely with Coach Edward Nii Odoom and Asare Bediako who are currently head and assistant coaches of the Phobians.

In the past, Kosta Papic has worked with clubs including Lobi Stars, Enyimba FC, Enugu Rangers, Maritzburg United, Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Young Africans SC, Chippa United, Black Leopards, and Polokwane City.
