Ghanaian international, Seth Paintsil has expressed optimism in the chances of his brother, Joseph Paintsil winning the Belgian Pro League title with KRC Genk at the end of the 2022/23 season.
After his outstanding displays for Genk this season, the Black Stars forward and his team have a healthy lead at the top of the standings of the division.
Speaking to Het Belang Van Limburg, Seth Paintsil who is the big brother of Joseph Paintsil described his brother as one of the best attackers in Belgium.
He said he believes Genk will win the Pro League title at the end of the season.
"He's one of the best wingers in Belgium. In Genk, things weren't rosy at first. So he was loaned out to Turkish club Ankara. It did him good despite being relegated.
“They're going to win the title," Seth Paintsil said.
The big brother of Joseph Paintsil continued, "The most important thing is that Joseph is happy now. He scores, he gives assists. He is in great shape. He has a contract until 2026. What more do you want? I pray to God that 'he goes far'.
This season, Joseph Paintsil has scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in the Belgian Pro League.
