According to reports, Spanish La Liga side Sevilla will likely make contact with Real Valladolid to initiate processes for the transfer of in-form defender Mohammed Salisu.

The young defender has been in fine form since the start of the 2019/2020 season and continues to impress on every matchday.

He recently received his maiden call-up to the Black Stars team but unfortunately missed out due to a slight injury he suffered.

With Valladolid set to come up against Sevilla this Sunday, the host who is said to be interested in Mohammed Salisu could make their first move.

It is understood that Sevilla has monitored the Ghanaian for a while now and is convinced he has the quality to replace Carriço who is enduring a lengthy spell on the sideline through injury.

The sporting director of the club, Ramon Rodriguez could make contact with Valladolid Sporting director Miguel Ángel Gómez this weekend to express their interest in the 20-year-old center-back.
