Sharani Zuberu scores crucial goal for Slovan Bratislava against Zrinjski Mostar

Ghana's Sharani Zuberu scored the only goal in Slovan Bratislava's win against Zrinjski Mostar Champions League Qualification Round 2 on Tuesday. 

The head-to-head record for the teams before the game was Zrinjski Mostar one win, Slovan Bratislava one win, and no draws.

Sharani Zuberu started the game at Stadion Bijeli Brijeg and lasted 83 minutes. He was replaced by Kevin Wimmer.

Zrinjski Mostar enjoyed a lot of possession throughout the encounter.

Sharani Zuberu's header from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner gave SK Slovan Bratislava the crucial goal in the 53rd minute. Sharani Zuberu's goal was assisted by Lucas Lovat with a cross following a set piece situation.

In the 67th minute, Ghanaian attacker Malik Abubakari came on to replace Marko Tolic.

Sharani Zuberu 23, joined SK Slovan Bratislava during the January 2023 transfer window on a free transfer.

SK Slovan Bratislava will now turn its attention to their league game against FC Kosice.
