Liverpool legend Graeme Souness blasted Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera for defeat at Arsenal.
The Spaniard turned his back on Granit Xhaka's shot before it deflected off him and looped over David De Gea into the Manchester United net to give Arsenal the lead.
Souness told Sky Sports: "It's a large slice of luck but Herrera, who has been having a good time of late is the biggest culprit here apart from the obvious turning of the back.
"Go to the ball son.
"A midfield player defending on the edge of the box, to defend properly you go out and confront the ball and put pressure on the ball.
"What is Herrera doing? It's not like he's got Arsenal players around him.
"Then he commits a sin by completely turning his back on it and he's scared to take a blow for the cause.
"That's what caused the first goal."
