Guillem Balague, a Spanish journalist believes that Thomas Partey could be on a move to England this summer after stalling over his new Atletico Madrid contract.

The 26 year old has a new deal on the table which will see him earn significantly more than his current salary and double his release clause but is yet to sign it.
The former Almeria loanee has a 50 million euro release clause. Balague gave updates on his situation through his YouTube channel.

“What I am hearing, he has a buyout clause of €50m, and Atletico would like him to sign a new contract,” Balague said. “But he is not signing a new contract, that is as much as I can tell you."
