Ghana winger Emmanuel Gyasi is returning to Spezia Calcio fresh and will be in good shape when the team takes on Lazio in the Italian Serie A next weekend.
The forward prior to the international break earned his maiden call-up to the Black Stars for the two final matches in the qualifiers to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Last Thursday, he earned his Black Stars debut when he played 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against the Bafana Bafana.
With the Ghana team sealing qualification to the AFCON after that game, Emmanuel Gyasi was given a rest on Sunday evening when the team played the final AFCON qualifying match against Sao Tome & Principe.
As a result, he has had plenty of rest and will return to Spezia fresh in midweek to prepare for their tough game against Lazio in the Italian Serie A.
