Tottenham striker Harry Kane has accepted personal terms from Real Madrid, it has been revealed.
Diario Gol says Real and Kane have agreed contract, which will double his current salary at Spurs.
However, talks are yet to be formally held with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy about a fee for the England international. A price of €200m has been mentioned, but those close to negotiations say Levy is unlikely to consider parting with Kane unless an offer closer to €300m is tabled.
Real president Florentino Perez regards that as unrealistic and is prepared to include Karim Benzema in his offer to drive down Levy's cash valuation. However, it is Gareth Bale - not Benzema - whom Levy would only consider in a cash-plus-player swap for Kane.
And even then, while he rates Kane at €200m-plus, Levy doesn't see Bale being worth over €100m. Indeed, he made a throw away offer of €50-60m before Christmas for the Welshman, which was turned down by Perez.
