Spurs chairman Levy informs Barcelona of Eriksen asking price

Published on: 16 November 2017

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is prepared to sell Christian Eriksen - for a world record fee.

Barcelona have been urged to move for the Dane in the wake of his performances against Real Madrid and the Republic of Ireland in recent weeks.

And El Mundo Deportivo says Barca did make an attempt for Eriksen over the summer.

The enquiry was lodged after the sale of Neymar to PSG, but drew the response from Daniel Levy, the Spurs chairman, "If PSG paid €222 million for Neymar, Christian Eriksen costs €225 million."

Levy's stand hasn't changed, leaving Barca having to look elsewhere to find a new midfield signing.
