Statistics shows improved performance from Afriyie Acquah in Yeni Malatyaspor’s draw with Galatasaray

According to statistics, Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah improved his performance in terms of numbers when his Yeni Malatyaspor side drew 1-1 with Galatasaray over the weekend.

The two sides locked horns at the Malatya Arena on match week 5 in hopes of bagging all three points at the end of the day.

Though things didn’t go as planned for Yeni who played as the home team, their defensive midfielder Afriyie Acquah was unplayable throughout the match and emerged as one of the best players.

Per statistics available by whoscored.com, the Black Stars midfield enforcer showed top form whiles playing alongside Tunisian Chalaali, thus helping his side secure 1 vital point.

The former Empoli man finished the game with a rating of 6.6 just like Galatasaray's Steven Nzonzi.

Acquah had two shots at goal, one on target, and with a total of 69 passes with a pass success rate of 48%.

He also won three aerial duels and one successful dribble.

He will be in the middle of the park next weekend when Yeni take on Antalyaspor on match week 6.
