After an outstanding display in the 2021/22 football season where the Black Stars asset helped his club to finish 6th in the French Ligue 1 season, he has seen his stocks go through the roof.

Since the winter window, a number of clubs in the major European leagues have been looking at Alexander Djiku over the possibility of securing his signature in the summer window.

Speaking to DNA on the possibility of losing the defender, Strasbourg president Marc Keller says the club is not worried.

According to him, if it happens the club is ready to bring in players to fill any void that will be left in the first team.

“For Ludo as for Alex, we are in a waiting position. If they have to leave, they will naturally be replaced. It's part of the life of a club,” President Keller said when speaking on Ludovic Ajorque and Alexander Djiku.

In the recently ended French Ligue 1 season, Alexander Djiku was a regular in the heart of the Racing Strasbourg defense where he scored a goal after making 31 appearances.
