Swansea City are eyeing Santos midfielder Lucas Lima this month.
The Sun says Swans are preparing shock transfer for Lima as Everton close in on Gylfi Sigurdsson deal.
The exit of the Swans playmaker has been delayed until the Welsh outfit find an apt replacement for the 27-year-old playmaker.
Lima, 27, has won a dozen caps, plays in the No 10 role and is in the Sigurdsson mould.
The Samba star would cost around £15 million but that has not put the Swans off so far.
City would have to pay a hefty fee and good wages to help them get a work permit for Lima and they are currently working on the cost of the overall package.
