Swansea vice-captain Andre Ayew shifts attention to Nottingham Forest game

Ghana skipper Andre Ayew has shifted his attention to Swansea City's next league encounter with Nottingham Forest following their 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday in a Championship game on Wednesday night. 

The 30-year-old climbed off the bench to salvage a vital point for the Swans at the Liberty Stadium.

The versatile forward has now scored seven goals this season to help the Swans to fourth spot on the league table.

Adam Reach opened the scoring for Sheffield Wednesday in the 27th minute after receiving a fine pass from Barry Bannan.

Ayew then scored an important equalising goal 14 minutes after he was brought on in the game to ensure the side shared the points.

The Ghanaian international has now played 12 league games, scored five goals and provided one assist s far this season.
