Swedish champions Elfsborg sign Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng

Swedish champions IF Elfsborg have completed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng in the ongoing summer transfer window.

His visa and work permit is being processed after which the move would be made official.

Boateng joins Elfsborg from Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv where he had an impressive campaign last season.

Last season, he made 28 appearances across all competitions for Tel Aviv and scored one goal.

The former WAFA midfielder moved to Israel in September 2018 joining Tel Aviv from Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars.
