Talented Ghanaian striker Rauf Salifu signs for US side Sporting Kansas City II

Talented Ghanaian striker, Rauf Salifu has completed his move to American outfit Sporting Kansas City II.

The Accra Lions FC forward has moved to the club for a season-long loan spell until the rest of the 2022 USL season.

“Sporting Kansas City II announced today that the club has acquired 19-year-old striker Rauf Salifu on season-long loan from Ghanaian side Accra Lions FC with an option to buy the player at the end of 2022.

”Sporting KC II will welcome Salifu ahead of the club’s 2022 campaign in MLS NEXT Pro, a new professional league that will kick off in late March,” a statement from the American club has said.

Rauf Salifu has been signed with a lot of expectations and will be hoping to excel at the club to push for a permanent switch.

The striker in the last two years has been known for goals not only in the Ghana National Division One but the top-flight league as well.
