Tariqe Fosu has praised his Rotherham United teammates following their impressive 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion in the English Championship.
A brace from Jordan Hugill and a third from Tariqe ensured the home side took all three points.
The goal was the Ghanaian’s first of the current campaign having already registered three assists in his previous 31 games.
Speaking after the game, the former Brentford man said the squad was determined to seal victory against their rivals in Friday’s encounter.
“We have been positive the whole of this week in training. We expected the game to be how it was, and backed ourselves to win this game, especially at home with the fans behind us,” he said.
“It wasn’t easy but it has come true.”
The win sees Rotherham move three points above the relegation zone.
