Ghanaian teenager Nana Kofi Babil has finally commenced training with Austrian Bundesliga outfit SCR Altach as he begins his first stint in Europe.
The highly-rated attacker joined the Austrian club in July from Medeama Sporting Club on a one-year loan deal.
Unfortunately, he could not travel to the European country at that time as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic which had led to countries grounding flights.
With an improvement in the situation and the opening of Ghana’s airport, Nana Kofi Babil has been able to travel to Austria to begin his career at SCR Altach.
On Wednesday, the forward officially commenced training at the club and is expected to continue pre-season with his teammates ahead of the start of the new football season in Austria.
During the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season, the 18-year old made 12 appearances where he managed to score 4 goals while providing 3 assists.
