Henry Asante Twum, the spokesman for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), says he is happy with the competitive nature of the league this season.

The Ghana Premier League stands tall as a symbol of the competitive spirit that exists within the country's football scene in a space where passion, skill, and strong resolve combine.

Asante Kotoko won the title last season and failed to defend it this season. The Porcupine Warriors are sixth with 44 points after 30 games.

"The competitive nature of the league has been very good I went to watch one of the games with Didi Dramani I think Hearts of Oak Kotoku Royals at the Accra Sports Stadium," he said on Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"After the game his overall ratings he said he is surprised about the position of Kotoku Royals (league table) because of the way the team performed,"

"But maybe because they didn't start the league well so if I am to summarize I will say that its been one issue to the other but generally it hasn't been a bad season with four matches or so to get to the end of the campaign,"
