The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has disclosed that it is not planning to hide the contract details of new Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton.

After weeks of speculations, the Ghana FA early this month announced that it has given the vacant national team head coach job to the former Brighton & Hove Albion.

However, the details of the contract were not made public.

Speaking to Hot FM in an interview, the Communications Director of the GFA, Henry Asante Twum has indicated that there is a plan to unveil the new coach at a special ceremony.

According to him, the details of the contract with Chris Hughton will be made public at that ceremony.

“The GFA will organize an unveiling ceremony to announce Chris Hughton officially to Ghanaians as the new Head Coach of the Black Stars.

“His number of years and terms of reference will be noted at the unveiling,” Henry Asante Twum assured.

The unveiling is expected to be made before March 20 when Ghana takes on Angola in the next match of the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
