Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has said he wasn't surprised bywhistles towards Mario Gotze from the home fans at Signal Iduna Park during their 3-1 win against Freiburg on Friday night.
WithESPNreporting,Gotze returned to Dortmund this season after leaving to join Bayern Munich in 2013 - having goneon to score the World Cup winning goal for Germany and win multiple Bundesliga titles while a Bayern player - but made his first appearance at the Signal Iduna Park in 1,248 days, the ground is notoriously known for is iconic atmosphere and freighting graphics.

Tuchel said this about the whistles toward Gotze, "The absolute majority has expressed its solidarity and these actions show that the majority is behind Mario and he enjoys their full support.
"But I cannot imagine that this is an ongoing issue, the overwhelming majority of those applauding is significant."

The German returned home in the colours of yellow and black as Borussiacomfortably beat Freiberg on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's 100th Bundesliga appearance.
Goals from Aubameyang, right-back Lukas Piszczek and Mexican defender Rapheal Guerreiro, who replaced Gotze in 71st minute, ensured the win.
