FootballMadeInGhana.com sums up the UEFA Champions League and Europa draw in relation to the involvement of every Ghanaian player.

This year’s Champions League promises to be an interesting one from a Ghanaian perspective.

Richmond Boakye Yiadom’s Red Star Belgrade were pooled alongside five times champions Bayern Munich, Greek giants Olympiakos and last year’s finalist Tottenham Hotspurs in Group B.

With no Ghanaian in Group C, attention moves to Group D where Thomas Partey and his Atlético Madrid will go against Serie A giants Juventus, Bayern Leverkusen and Russians Lokomotiv Moscow.

In Group E, Joseph Paintsil is expected to line up for Genk against defending champions Liverpool, Italian side Napoli and Majeed Ashmeru’s Red Bull Salzburg.

Kwadwo Asamoah’s Inter Milan have arguably the toughest group after they were paired alongsid Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Czech side Slavia Prague in Group F.

Former Ghana U-20 star Nana Kwame Antwi could be in action when Lille take on Chelsea in Group H. The group also includes last year’s surprise package Ajax and Valencia.

Meanwhile, six Ghanaian players will be in action in the 2019-20 edition of the Uefa Europa League.

Former AshantiGold defender Kadri Mohammed will play a part for Dynamo Kyiv’s as they aim to get the better of Copenhagen, Malmo, and Lugano in Group B.

In Group C, Caleb Ekuban will be hoping to steer Trabzonspor in their battle with Spanish side Gatefe, Basel and Krasnodar.

Samuel Tetteh is expected to play instrumental role for LASK in Group D which also consists Sporting CP, PSV, and Rosenberg.

Much of Gent’s hopes of reaching the next stage of the competition will ride on the shoulders of Ghana duo Nana Kwesi Asare and Elisha Owusu as they lock horns with Wolfsburg, Saint Ethiene and Olenxandriya in Group I.

Elsewhere, Abraham Frimpong and his Ferencvaros side will square it off with CSKA Mosco, Espanyol, and Ferencvaros in Group H.
