The former Chelsea academy graduate has been a livewire for Brighton in the ongoing campaign.

However, Antonio Conte has expressed interest in signing Lamptey this summer.

Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge Speaking with GiveMeSport said “Tottenham have had a long-standing interest in Tariq Lamptey.

"But they’ve been quoted crazy figures for a very good full-back, but someone who’s had his own injury problems.”

Spurs tried to sign Lamptey last season from Amex.

Lamptey has so far made 30 appearances for Brighton in all competitions in the ongoing season.

The promising right-back according to the report has been named in Ghana's squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers against Madagascar and the Central African Republic next month.
