Tottenham Likely to Be Missing First Team Trio For Saturday's Trip to Bournemouth

Tottenham managerMauricio Pochettino appears to have several injury concerns ahead of his team'strip to Bournemouth this weekend.

Spurs travel to the Vitality Stadium this Saturday lunchtime seeking to end a run of two consecutive draws. A win over the Cherries would send Pochettino's men top of the table, for a whilst at least, as they look to make an early statement before the rest of the weekend's fixtures take place.

If they are to win, they will have to do it without both Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld who have been confirmed absentees for the match.

In tweets posted by the club, Danny Rose also appears to be an injury doubt after suffering a foot problem in the 0-0 draw with Bayer Leverkusen last Tuesday in the Champions League.

The tweets quoting the Tottenham managerread: "Good news on Alderweireld but it's [his leg] still painful and he'll miss out. We're happy with the progress Harry Kane is making.

There does appear to be some good news however on the fitness of Harry Kane. The striker has been injured since scoring the winner against Sunderland a month ago and despite the impressive form of Son Heung-Min, Pochettino will be desperate to have his main forward back in action as soon as possible.

The tweet aboutKane read: "He's started to run, he's training alone at the moment but we're positive. It's good to see him back on the pitch."

Despite the disappointing news surrounding the injured trio, there are no other fresh concerns for Pochettino and he will hope that his team can put in a similar performance to last year's 5-1 thrashing of Bournemouth this weekend.
