Turkish club Kayserispor extends Yaw Ackah's contract

In a move that solidifies their faith in his abilities, Turkish club Kayserispor has announced the extension of Yaw Ackah's contract, ensuring his continued presence on the team.

The Yellow and Red Club signed a 3-year contract with midfielder Yaw Ackah.

The statement made by the Kayserispor club, reads, "The contracts of our professional football players Ethem Balcı and Yaw Ackah have been extended for 3 years. We wish our footballers success under our glorious jersey,"

Ackah transferred from Bechem United to the youth academy of Boavista in 2017. On May 11, 2019, Ackah made his professional debut for Boavista in a 4-2 victory over S.C. Braga in the Primeira Liga.

Yaw Ackah signed for Turkish Super League team Kayserispor on a three-year agreement after a successful medical ahead of the 2020/2021 season after making 24 appearances for Portuguese side Boavista in the 2019/20 season.

Ackah was named to Ghana's preliminary squad for the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
