Two German Bundesliga clubs are said to be interested in signing Ghana international Majeed Ashimeru, Footballghana.com can report.
The 25-year-old has been outstanding for Anderlecht in the ongoing season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in 28 games in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
Ashimeru has become a subject of interest for several clubs due to his swashbuckling performance for the Belgian giants.
Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach are reportedly ready to battle for the signature of the Black Stars midfielder in the summer transfer window.
Although, both teams are yet to make any official offer but their scouts have been monitoring the enterprising midfielder and have been impressed with his performance
The Black Stars midfielder joined Anderlecht in July 2021 and has established himself as a key cog to the club.
Ashimeru’s current contract with the Belgian outfit will expire in the summer of 2025.
