U23 AFCON: We are going all out against Morocco – Black Meteors goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim

Black Meteors deputy captain Danlad Ibrahim says the team will go all out to negotiate for points when they face Morocco in their second group game of the U23 AFCON.

The Ghana U23 team are currently in Morocco fighting for one of the slot for the Olympic Games next year.

The team recorded victory in their opening game against Congo after inflicting a 3-2 win on Sunday afternoon.

The Ghana U23 side will take on the host country on Tuesday night in their second Group A game of the tournament.

At the pre-match conference, the Kotoko goalie said the team will approach Morocco with seriousness at they seek to book early qualification from the group.

“We are very prepared and as we won our first game, we know it will be a nice game against Morocco and for the players, we are very prepared for the game”

“We are going all out for the game because we know the outcome of the game will determine the qualification for both teams”

“In camp, we are cool, no pressure and we are just coming out to give our best and what comes in, we give thanks to almighty Allah” he said.

Ghana are on top of Group A together with Morocco who also have three points after beating Guinea in their opening match.

The Black Meteors last competed in the Olympic Games in 2004 when it was held in Athens, Greece.
