Talented Ghana U23 striker, Emmanuel Yeboah is backing the Black Meteors to win the ultimate prize at the ongoing 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Speaking in an interview after helping Ghana to beat Congo 3-1, the CFR Cluj forward said he has no doubt the Black Meteors have quality players and a good technical bench to go all the way at the tournament.

“We have the coach, the staff, and the players to go all the way; it’s up to us to stay focused,” striker Emmanuel Yeboah shared.

The forward continued, “When I saw the opponents we were going to face, I was delighted because they are powerhouses of African football. It is through such strong opposition that we progress. We couldn’t afford to falter today against Congo, and we will gain momentum as the tournament progresses.”

After scoring a brace and assisting Ghana’s first goal in the 3-2 victory over Congo on Sunday, Emmanuel Yeboah is expected to lead the lines for the Black Meteors on Tuesday, June 27, when the side takes on host nation Morocco.
